Over Easter, we decided to have a mini Perth getaway for four days. We were going to have a ‘stay-cation,’ but last minute the desire to see a new place took over and the next thing we knew… flights booked! 🙂  Last year we had a mini Hobart getaway and now this has added fuel to our travel fire and made us want to explore a bit of Australia too!
We stayed in the heart of the city and hired a car which made getting around from beaches to landmarks quite easy. A Perth getaway is highly recommended if you’re a beach lover and appreciate a laid back lifestyle. Some of the highlights were; eating at chic restaurants in Northbridge, visiting the market and Little Creatures Brewery in Fremantle (a must!), taking in the picturesque view of the skyline from King’s Park, fish and chips at Cottlesloe Beach and relaxing at Hilary’s Boatshed.
I made a short travel video (not as extreme as my other ones)  just to show some snippets of Perth. 🙂
