Stripes, crops and midi's

I adore this look of teaming a casual crop with a dressy midi… so much fun! This skirt from Bardot has been a fantastic item in my wardrobe for so many reasons. I mostly love the fact that I can wear it during the day with a tee shirt and sandals, then out at night with a tucked in cami or crop with heels. Midi’s like these are just so versatile! I love the leatherette lining on the top for that extra bit of contrast. Being a big fan of stripes, I love the look of this casual crop teamed with a chunky necklace to break it up. Don’t be scared to mix dressy pieces with casual pieces, sometimes they turn out the best! 🙂

The lipstick I’m wearing is a colour I definitely would never usually go for, but I thought I’d give the purple look a go and I was pleasantly surprised! People often steer away from something they like on others, thinking it won’t suit them, however, this trial and error is the best way is to experiment.
