‘I love New york’ photo shoot

Matt and I had talked about getting some photos done for our 5 year wedding anniversary, so I thought what a great idea to surprise him whilst we’re in our favourite city… NYC!

I searched online and emailed so many photographers, but I knew I had exactly who I wanted when I found Tina at Tina Tcholakian Photography! She knew exactly what I was after and I could tell we were on the same page. When choosing a photographer, it’s very important to ‘click’ with them. It’s always important to go with your gut feeling.

Tina helped me organise right from the get go. From outfits to locations, props and how we could surprise Matt, we covered it all. After a few Skype chats I was confident in my choice.

Matt had no idea what was going on, I just told him to dress decent as were doing something nice. He was kind of freaked out as I’ve done a flash mob to him before (true story! Check it out here!) and therefore he knew anything was possible! We got to Grand Central Station and Tina walked past us and that was my cue. I gave him two really soppy love notes (awwww) and the second one said ‘look around, smile we are being photographed!’ and there was Tina snapping away. The look on his face was priceless! He loved the idea and we had such a fun day, despite the rainy New York weather!
