overalls

I know its been a little while since my last blog post (sorry!), but after we got back from Cuba and Mexico it was full speed ahead with work, functions, you name it! I will do a detailed post on the trip, with a travel video of course, but I wanted to do a quick blog post on these super cute overalls I literally got the day before leaving for our trip. It was basically a see, want, need… buy moment with not much thinking in between there. They pretty much had #thatssojen written all over them. Denim, rips, overalls, fun… SOLD! 🙂

I’ve always had a thing for overalls. I think back to being in high school and buying so many in different colours. Maybe wearing them takes me back to my happy place- the 90’s! These were one of the cutest pair I’d seen. The star print was the obvious stand out feature giving them a point of difference. I find people always comment that they love overalls, but find them hard to wear. I’m not sure why because I find them one of the easiest (and fun may I add) items to style. I paired them here with a simple fitted T-Shirt and sandals, but on this trip I also wore them with a boyfriend style white top and my white adidas sneakers. I think it’s a matter of playing around with the options, but choose wisely as overalls can have the ability to make you look twelve. ha ha!

I’m on the hunt for some full length overalls for our next trip coming up in April as it will be a bit colder where we are headed!
