Hey Guys! Finally – here is my Philippines travel diary and travel video from the start of this year where we spent Christmas and New Years with friends. If you have any hesitations travelling to the Philippines, DON’T! We had a few people warn us against it, but I’m so happy we went with our gut as it was one of the most amazing experiences ever.
Our trip began in Cebu and we stayed at Costabella Tropical Beach Hotel, which was an amazing resort and I highly recommend it. It was from here that we saw Chocolate Hills in Bohol by helicopter. We then went on a five hour road trip to the other side of Cebu to Moalboal, which is known for diving and the pictureque Kawasan Falls.
Our next stop was Boracay. My gosh – pure heaven. It had the whitest sand and bluest water you’ve ever seen! Boracay is the island you come to party. We did a lot of that and also enjoyed the large variety of restaurants, whilst also relaxing with massages. It honestly had the perfect mix of everything. Check out the Sunny Side Cafe and order the Ube Pancake – trust me and you’re welcome. 🙂
Our final stop was Manila, which was the perfect contrast from the beach to the city vibe that we love. Manila is the most densely populated city in the world, well served by the best malls in Asia, numerous dining options and cool bars. I met up with a friend in Manila who I’d met years ago on instagram and she took us to a really cool NYC style bar called Yes Please and it’s definitely worth checking out.
Our friends were really keen to get involved in our music clip as some of them had seen our videos and never been in one! It’s my tradition to make these music clip type videos, set to a song for our travels to give our videos a point of difference and memories to cherish forever. Be sure to check out the others in my travel section. Enjoy  tsj xxÂ
