The overall crush continues

If you are a regular reader of my blog/instagram page, you will definitely know by now that I have a massive love for overalls, which I’m sure stems from my love of the 90’s Hip Hop and R&B scene! What I love most about overalls is that it’s an all-in-one outfit, there isn’t much thinking involved and they are just so unique and fun. I find it’s the one garment that somehow keeps emerging in the midst of style evolution and it’s so versatile.

This French Connection overall in particular is a bit more bold and slightly ‘boyish.’ Strangely, these are the items I find the most fun to dress up. (So no, dressing like TLC or LL Cool J isn’t the only option 🙂 ) I love mixing street style with a touch of glam so I dressed these overalls right up for a night out. By putting on heels, some chunky gold jewellery and pink lips, it instantly gave these tomboy overalls a whole new look!

I will be doing a general blog post on overalls so I will talk more about how to style/wear them in more detail soon. These are so perfect for winter coming up and I think they will look cute with a pair of Vans or Converse too. How do you wear your overalls?
