This trip was amazing and this is one of my favourite travel videos I have made to date. We visited Chicago, Washington, NYC (surprise, surprise!) Toronto and Montreal.
I was actually born in Canada and haven’t been back since I was about 2 years old. This was a good opportunity to revisit my childhood and visit relatives. Each city was amazing and of course NYC was as good to us as always! The other cities were new for us, so it was great to explore them. Chicago’s Navy Pier and deep dish pizza (Yum!) was amazing, Washington’s landmarks were interesting and Toronto’s cool vibe was reminiscent of Melbourne. In Montreal, my Aunty showed me the apartments where we lived and the schools my brother went to.
A highlight: Organising a surprise ‘I love New York’ photo shoot for Matty for our 5 year wedding anniversary present. He loved it, see the full post and photos here
