Sailor knit

This was an instant love for me and as soon as I saw it on Instagram it had to be mine!! The monochrome (of course!), the stripes and unusual hemline all had me at hello. I like the relaxed boyfriend style fit of this amazing knit. I normally don’t like overly baggy clothing on me, but this fit was perfect.

The main thing that attracted me was the unusual hemline. I love the way it’s longer at the back and cut out on the sides giving it a nice multi-levelled affect. The distinct deep navy rim around the collar, sleeves and hemline make the feature pop even more. As I said… LOVE! This great knit teamed with a hat and scarf is the perfect way to rug up for this FREEZING Melbourne weather.

P.S. These jeans were a steal from Jay Jay’s on sale for around $20! To think, I was searching for a cheap pair to fray and rip (Yes, I was too fussy and wanted to create my own rips!), but the fit and style ensured they ended up being a staple item in their original condition. 🙂
